SO pleased that I went this route to stream vid to my TV. I initially planned on buying a Blu-Ray player so as to be able to stream...but I don't own any discs. Then I thought about Apple TV, but they don't have nearly the apps available, Chromecast, nope, not reliable or stout enough. This little device is excellent. Very happy and highly recommended.

I'm so happy that I finally caved and bought this product. It's made life without cable bearable and has easy to set up and use features in addition to being easy to set up and use itself. I am horrible with technology and even I've gotten a lot out of this product.

Overall, the Roku is very convenient. Having all my video services in one place is great, and the fact that the "search" feature will search all your services for you, is my favorite part. If I'm looking for a particular show or movie, being able to do one search instead of checking each service individually is awesome. However, I've found that my remote disconnects from the Roku player often, so I find myself having to re-pair them almost daily.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was excited when I bought this and it seemed to work fine when I hooked it up... now, I can't seem to get it to come on at all... I think I need some help.

its great for movie night and if my girlfriend goes to bed early i just plug in my headphones to the remote. I chose the roku 2 because it has multiple outputs; an HDMI and classic RCA, so you can hook it up to any TV made in the last 20 years! I have my TV and stereo hooked to it. I love mine so much I bought a second one for my dad on Father's day.
