Easy to use!

I bought this a month ago so I can watch FastHockey on my television instead of just my computer. I've been really happy with the ease of setup and the variety of channels available. I haven't been able to ditch my cable company yet but this is a step closer.

I seem to watch my Roku more than I do regular TV!!! I swear if Hallmark streamed I would cut my cable OFF!!!

I have owned appletv and a roku. The roku's connectivity is better but the interface, searchability and screen set up is horrible.

This is a great product. My y favorite reason to rate this is all the free internet content you can access and watch through your TV screen. even if you dont own a smart TV! You can watch your favorite TV programs on your own time.

Irreplaceable

I bought this device on the advice of my friend. I was tired of my cable bill constantly going up and hunting for something to watch on cable. It took me a few weeks to get used to not channel surfing and picking specific things to watch. Pair this device with Netflix and a few other channels and you are set. Now that I have been using the Roku for about 6 months, it is irreplaceable. I recommend it to my friends, family, and acquaintances.
I have only been through a few of the many free channels available and can add/drop channels whenever I want.

Quick response, high quality picture and sound

Works well, but freezes once in a long while. This only happens about once every 3 days or so. Given what I paid for it, it's definitely worth the money spent. Also, being able to stream a very large selection of free channels is definitely a plus.

Small, simple, full of awesomeness

I purchased this to upgrade to a newer a model. I love the headphone jack on the remote, the small size, and most everything about it.
I find the rewind/fast forward/pause keys more difficult to find by touch, and the bottom pre-defined channel keys are a waste for channels that I do not subscribe to.
I would recommend this to a friend!
