I bought the Roku 2 as a replacement for a first gen Roku, and while I like the Roku 2 and don't know what I'd do without, it does not seem as glitch free as my first. I think this is likely both a blessing and a curse; the 2 offers me the ability to do so much more than the other one did and I think that sophistication some times causes me problem. Make no mistake; it's still great and I don't regret not having cable for a second.

It does the job, but gets short battery life.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the way it works. I use it with Netflix, and it is a perfect match. I had slower speed and some stalls while loading with my blue ray player running Netflix. There is no problem with Roku in that regard. I use a AA battery charger that works with alkaline batteries to work around the short battery life in the remote. When the battery goes dead, remote control is lost, and rewind and selection is drops away. I recommend you get the extended warrantee, as the receiver unit runs hot.

With my 1 year old son sleeping the next room, I never get to watch tv in the bedroom... until NOW. Headset jack on the remote!!!! Love my THIRD Roku, and love listening to my media at an audible volume now. :)

Bought my Roku 2 about a month ago and it has been working very well. I like the plug in microphone jack as I usually have the volume louder than everyone else.

this is my 3rd Roku and I could not be happier with it....my 8 year old uses it with no problems, my wife's 85 year old grandmother uses it with no problems...incredibly easy to set up and use.....

This is my second Roku 2 purchase and we love it. Quick access to anything you are interested in watching. Portable, the ability to take it with you and use in any location that has wi-fi.
