Great Little Box!

I have the Roku stick, 2 and 3. Overall I am super pleased with each one. The only drawback with the 2 is the playback seems to be slightly different. Example, on the 3, Netflix continuously plays and on the 2 I have to choose to continue. Only Hulu continuously plays. Netflix also wont allow me to change profiles on the 2 but it does allow it on the 3 and the stick.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Needs to update Netflix

I like this product overall, but I end up watching Netflix on AppleTV due to the fact that the Roku app does not let me choose which Netflix profile I want to use. I also can't log in to HBO Go using my Comcast sign in. I have re-installed Netflix to no avail. Roku says its software is up to date.

Poor Remote Control Design

I purchased a Roku 2 in order to upgrade my older Roku XD. Unfortunately, I use the Roku XD remote control because I finder it simpler and easier to use. The Roku 2 remote control design was not very well thought out.

Great to have device but slow and less freecontent

The device itself is great but the free channels are not all that powerful. There is a lot of manual intervention that we are not used to while watching TV. The interface could be better and more self guiding. Roku is leaving the choice of interface on the content providers and there is no standardization leaving us with less than optimal user experience.

Works well most of the time

Occasionally, the Roku will stop, go to a Roku purple screen, then the on lamp will blink 32 times, and it will eventually re-set to the home screen. This is an annoyance during a baseball game, but 90% of the time it works well.

Great for what it does. Occasionally we have some connection problems, but overall it is very reliable. I often have issues with subtitles and I wish when watching a series of shows it started the next shoe instead of having to manually start the next episode, but if that's my only complaint, it must be pretty good!
