Love Roku!

I am now CABLE-FREE and loving it. Roku is super intuitive and easy to set up. I have the remote app on my phone too, so when the Roku remote slips between the cushions, I have a backup!

I bought my first ROKU which was a ROKU2 about 6 months ago and I never imagined how much I would love it. Originally it was a gift for my girlfriend so she could watch a channel that was not available through our cable provider. We have now dropped our cable provider and only watch shows using our ROKU2. We absolutely love it. The remote also has attachable headphones making those late night movie marathons better allowing you to blast the volume without waking everyone. If you don't have a ROKU you need one. What are you waiting for? Buy yours right now and you wont regret it!

Great for streaming entertainment

The Roku 2 box is working great. We mostly use it for Netflix, but my son watches some anime channels and my wife subscribes to The Blaze. We have some problems with the programs stopping temporarily to load, but that probably has more to do with our slow DSL speed of 3Mbps.

No need for Cable TV!

The Roku is so simple and easy to use that we quickly purchased one for my parents and my in-laws. We (as well as my parents) no longer need cable TV and have quick and easy access to Netflix and Amazon Prime, as well as a number of freely available channels. You won't be disappointed! And BTW, the headphone feature in the roku 2+ is definitely worth the extra dough!

We are delighted with Roku. It let us do away with the expensive cable television. We are amazed at the variety of free stations we now get and love watching shows from the first episode to the last. The news is so much more indepth than we got with network television and we love BBC! The Roku performs nearly flawlessly and was so easy to connect. As retirees we use it daily for many hours. We're going to get another one!

Have had this for several months and was upset that it did not offer youtube, but now it does and is perfect. I would ditch satellite if the family was ok with that, but right now they seem to like what we have. I am so happy I found Roku. It makes programs available to me that satellite does not.
