Pretty cool gadget

I bought this for my little girls' bedroom, since they don't have a cable box. They are easily able to navigate to Netflix and Amazon Instant Video to watch their shows. This was a great purchase.

At first we had some huge problems, and everyone kept telling me to update software, but alas there wasn't any, moved the unit 6 inches from where it was, and guess what, it works like a charm.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy access/setup

Everything about Roku is great EXCEPT for the "earplug in remote feature" that is supposed to enable listening to program without disturbing neighbors. I have had problems with it from the get go.

I Love watching TV with my Roku 2 player. My 3 granddaughters especially love it! My only complaint is I can't keep my remote working, Replace batteries weekly!!! Thank goodness I have remote set-up on my iPhone. But can't use earphone feature on iPhone :)

Pros: good value, easy set up, high quality, plug and play (great for travel), hand set has ear plug
Cons: Roku 2 hand set hear plugs over rides TV volume (doesn't allow sound from both TV speakers and hear plug at same time).
