My Roku 2 is installed in my den and works wonderful on an older TV using my Wi-Fi computer system

The Roku 2 is a very stable system in our multimedia entertainment system. The streaming feature is very fast and we have never had a buffering problem.
The video search feature is clunky so I hope the future brings us a voice activated search feature.

Easy to install. With the usual "movie" channels ie Cinemax etc showing Rocky XX, Lethal Weapon etal, over and over, this is a great alternative. You need to have some time to go through all the programming you can get through Roku. There is some cost, but no more than you would pay for "movie" channels.

I am VERY pleased with my Roku. I like that there are so many viewing options to choose from and more are added, it seems, on a weekly basis. It is easy to use and convenient. My only disappointment is that for some channels it requires a TV service provider and some channels let you watch a few episodes to get you hooked on the program then require a service provider to continue watching. (got a Roku to avoid having a service provider) One of my favorite parts is that you can plug headphones into the remote and go anywhere in the house to at least listen to a program or radio station off Roku. This is wonderful too to if you have children and want to know what they watching but do not want to listen to it. My Roku makes it easy to monitor what my family watches.

Got rid of DISH and was told we could watch our shows with Roku.Not true.

I bought Roku for watching Netflix on my TV. It does so much more depending on what channels you want to pay for. It works off the wifi I have set up for my computer and android phones
