it won't turn on

I bought it a couple of months ago and it I not turning on. I have it pulled in to both tv and w power cord but it is not turning on. Weird.

Disapointed

I can't leave it plugged in because it overheats and then doesn't work. Then half of the time the display is off. Just really overall disappointed with it was hopping for more. When it works it works ok but that is very rare.

I didn't want to pay for a cable box in my den. So I decided to give roku a shot and I'm glad I did. Between my digital antenna and my roku, my choices are expanded!

I loved the roku and was so excited for the two weeks that it worked. Then the remote stopped. Tried all troubleshooting options and nothing helped. Had even connected my phone as a remote, but when the main remote stopped so did my phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought a Roku 2 and it was so simple to hook up and use, it was wonderful.
Highly recommend to anyone who wants streaming TV and movies on your schedule.

Huge disappointment

This device is a huge disappointment. The chief problem is that it requires re-registration and reinitialization nearly every day of use. Will not hold password for any of the services to which we subscribe.

Doesn't Work

I had to switch to a HDMI cable because my previous Roku didn't work and I bought the Roku 2 in April. It worked for a while and then stopped. The only Roku which works for me is the one with a Ethernet port.
