I bought the Roku 2 almost a year ago, and I have loved it. I don't always like satellite or cable - in the way that you have to watch according to their schedule, rather than your own. The main reason I purchased it was that I watch YouTube more than regular TV anyways, so with that channel I get to watch those videos. The only flaws are that it is subject to any errors in the internet connection and the YouTube won't show videos if they hate the playback features. All in all, an excellent alternative to the pricey cable and satellite monopolies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Average but confusing???!!!

I bought this a week ago, and the previous remote used double A batteries, and this one uses Triple A. I was very disappointed with the appearance and the way the remote worked. I found it more difficult to navigate the roku itself.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Work so so when I watch shows on Drama Fever

I do not know who to blame, Comcast, Drama Fever or Roku. When I watch shows in Drama Fever on Roku, it constantly is buffering, expecially in the evening. I have comcast internet with capability of 25mps. However it drop down to 3 to 5 mps in the everning, so I have to wait and wait, every few minutes. When I watch the show in Drama Fever in my Ipad, it has very little of the buffering. Do not know if it is Roku of not. I update to Roku 2 from Roku 1 thinking this would work better. No so. I have recommend this products to many of my friends. I think they have purchased over 10 of them due to my recommendations. So I am disappointed.

The whole thing is very user friendly. I basically use it to watch my shows so I haven't played any games. The apps on here are awesome and most of them are free. FREE!!!!

My brother gave me my Roku as a birthday gift 17 months ago and I think it's the best thing ever!! I don't watch tv anymore, just my Roku. I can access my Korean dramas, British shows, action movies, etc. I love this product!!
