Over time, this is my 4th Roku. I'll probably buy 1 more. Best thing out there.
My only complaint. I wish they had an optical output, also.

A life saver

As I am 75 and a widower the unit I have a roku 2 keeps me in good entertainment on a nite when there is very little on and by using it I have a large variety of good programs to watch...Edward Gearhart

I am seriously thinking about dumping Uverse and buying antena for my TV. With Roku and Netflix I got it all

Better than Basic

I purchased my Roku2 some 6 weeks ago, and I am sorry i didn't do it sooner. It is quicker to navigate, has better features, and overall improves my streaming experience. If you're thing of upgrading, don't delay.

Good buy

Bought this a few months ago. For us its good for watching netflix and vudu. Other channels are available but to get full access you have to have cable or some other tv provider. The box also gets extremely hot if left plugged up.

Easy to Use

I bought this to connect to an older TV that does not have HDMI. I enjoy watching movies on the channels offered, especially the retro shows that I grew up with. I also have some of the channels that charge a fee. I really enjoy watching my British shows offered on Acorn. I got rid of the Premium Channels on Cable to decrease my cable costs.

Finally TV options worth having

A friend told me about Roku and how happy he is with it, so I gave it a try on one of our TV's. I am currently a Direct TV customer, but that is going to change. After two weeks of Roku I am totally sold. I even told both my sons about it and am telling everyone else I can. Its about time the consumer has a choice other than cable and satellite.

We bought this to replace our tivo. This was a good decision. It's easier to use and the picture quality is better. The streaming quality is better as well...... BUT, we have to pair the remote every couple of days. Sometimes daily. That is a pain and can find no reason for it.
