I love my Roku! Ever since I bought my Roku, it is literally all I watch! It is so convenient to have all the new shows and movies available to me at all times.

I already had an older model Roku 2 XS and overall was pleased with its ease of install and connection to my home comcast wireless network. This prompted me to purchase a second Roku 2 for another TV in another room. From the initial install I experienced connectivity problems and it would not stay connected to the network. At this time I have had no luck with it holding an internet connection long enough to watch an entire movie. It is now disconnected and sits on the shelf idle. I would not recommend the newer model Roku 2 to anyone that wants to stream movies.

I bought my first Roku for use in my winter home in Florida and after enjoying so many good movies and commercial-free television series, I purchased two more for my northern residence. Inexpensive, easy to connect and use, make it a must for home video entertainment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The latest Roku 2 model is a disappointment

I loved the Roku 2 I bought 2-3 years ago and still use it with no problems I bought this second one in 2014 for a TV in another room. It runs hot all the time, buffers and reloads at odd times, reports false router disconnects at other times ( while the older Roku 2 I still have, never did and never does have any of these problems while getting signal from the same router ( my router is NOT the problem). I lived with these problems thru the 90 day warranty thinking it would correct itself over time. If you buy this and have any of these problems return it.

For some reason they are skipping this roku 2 with most of the new ui updates that could make it better. Please update this box!!!!!!!!!
