Not just the existing apps but all the hidden apps you can add as well. Done the right way this definitely can help those looking to cut the cord!

Love My Roku 2

Purchased this about a month ago to use with an HD (non-smart) TV and Netflix. What an awesome surprise to find all of the other available channels! I've had several "burps" that were easily remedied by a reboot.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This thing works well for the most part. Though, intermittently I need to disconnect/reconnect the power to get it to respond to the remote. While there are a seemingly endless number of channels available, it is not particularly easy to find one you might be looking for. It also is not that easy to tell what sort of content a channel provides. Many channels are listed as FREE, but in reality you only get the trial period for free; and channels that provide both free and pay content can be ambiguous as to which of those a show might fall in.

Got the mfg refurbished unit and it was good as new. Really like the compact size of the new units, the headphone option on the remote and the remote control app - awesome for searching since you can use the tablet keyboard.

Will replace the cable tv with the Roku 2 in the bedroom and also planning on getting a second Roku for the living room. These things are great, and consume a very small amount of juice, as they stay powered on all the time.
