Can't live without it!

I bought the Roku about 3 months ago and I have not switched my TV back to TV. I only watch the Roku!

Works great with no hassle

Roku fits my needs perfectly. Works so well that I bought 2 more as a gift. And thinking about buying another. Love the compact size and ease of use. The variety of channels is a huge plus. Little things like the seasonal/occasional background changes make it user friendly and pleasant, as odd as that might sound.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Consistenly Delivers Signal

I have had the Roku 2 for a few months now, and I am very pleased! It is much better at delivering the signal from the router to my TV than the original Roku. I hardly ever lose the program that I am watching. Thank you.

Overall I am unhappy with the Roku. Basically if you don't have access to channels on your TV then you don't have access to the channels on the Roku.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Did not like interface

The interface electronic design is more like a 1975 design. Having to find and push a button for each letter, comma, and enter any character is way too lame a design in 2014/

garbage channel line up

I've have had roku 2 over a year. My biggest complaint is so many garbage channels. I bought this thinking there was good quality channels. No Web browser. Too many religious and gaming channels. Too many that are alike. Give us live streaming channels please with flash. I won't buy another roku till programing changes .also You tube is really slow and hard to use .
