This is the 2nd Roku device I've bought and I've loved them both. There are so many different options and channels to choose from we always have something to watch!!

I purchased the Roku 2 a couple months ago and am so totally happy with it! My original reason for purchasing is because it enables me to have a variety of tv shows, movies etc at a drastically reduced price that I am currently paying for a higher priced Cable/Satellite Service. I have, since the purchase of my Roku2, been able to downsize my Cable/Satellite package and still enjoy the same shows I was watching for a fraction of the cost. Extremely easy to install and follow, anyone can do it. I especially enjoy watching the tv series that we on too late for me to watch before. You will not be disappointed in purchasing this Roku 2.

I have had my Roku for a month or two now. I use it daily to watch Netflicks, watch Espn, Hulu, Vevo and lots of other channels. I thought I was going to be the only one who would be using it but it has since been taken over by our 5 year old. Lots of kid friendly shows for her to watch. I cant even get on it really anymore. lol After she goes to sleep I get to binge watch and catch up on all the great shows and movies I missed out on. I tell everyone about the Roku.

Quality of video and audio not great.

Was expecting to watch movies that were at least as good as watching cable movies, but it is much less. Especially the audio, where voices are soft and muffled and music and sound effects are blasting. Sometimes when I switch to the Roku, it is locked up and I have to unplug it and reboot it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
