We purchased our Roku 7 or 8 months ago. We had given up cable and wanted a way to still watch some of our favorite shows. While we were a little disgruntled at the channel selections at first, we ended up subscribing to Hulu Plus. We still can't see ALL of our shows, but many of them are carried on Hulu. I would highly recommend calling your internet provider and insuring that your current speed can handle it.

I've had a great experience overall and am happy with my Roku. There are two issues that have bothered me though. First the batter life on the remote is really bad and I've burned through a lot of batteries. Second, the app often has a lot of issues connecting to WiFi. I frequently get a notification saying my iphone and Roku are not on the same wifi network when they are.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had this Roku 2 for a couple of months and I like it so much more than my Google TV or Chromecast. It was easy to setup and start watching my favorite shows on Hulu Plus, Netflix, and HBO Go. I told my in-laws about it, they bought it after viewing mine and I set it theirs up for them too. You can plug in a nice set of headphones and you won't disturb others.

I bought the Roku 2 on the advice of my daughter who had one and I'm glad I did. It is easy to use and works great. I have hundreds of choices of TV programs and movies to watch now. And the best part is they're free.

I wish I had bought this a long time ago! I love being able to access 100's of TV programs from all over the world. Particularly those from Britain,Australia and Canada. Also many other PBS station besides my local one! I don't thinki have watched regula YV since I installed it almost two months ago. Which I may add,was very easy for me to do. I was dreading that but it really was easy and the directions were spot on.

Great options

I bought this a couple of months ago and I love it! There are so many channels to choose from. Although I watch mostly 2 it's great to have so many options. The one issue I have is sometimes the roku freezes when starting a stream. Then I have to go back a step or more to start again, sometimes 2-3 times. I have high speed internet so I'm not sure what is the problem. It's not that big a deal, but it could be improved.

Received this for a gift at Christmas. Use it primarily for Netflix on an older TV. No complaints. Easy to hook up, easy to operate!
