I love my original Roku player however the Roku 2 offers more memory and remote features that you'll certainly enjoy.

Can't Live Without It

I set up my Roku 2 to my tv and rely on it daily for Netflix, PBS, and German TV. It's easy to use from anywhere in your dwelling.

Big things do come in small packages... I have two (2) Roku players... can't beat the price and ease of use... Far less expensive than the Apple TV. Great connection, easy to hook up...

Now I can watch Movies, Music Videos, and much more. I love the headset on the remote feature too. If I want to watch a show while my wife reads, I don't interrupt her with the sound.

Works great most of the time, when it goes to a commercial there is a high pitched screaming sound, unless I pause it, then hit play again then the sound is fixed.

Can't live without it!

I've had my Roku for about 6 months now, and I love it! I don't know what I would do if someone took it away from me! The available movies are incredible and what a bargain. I probably watch about 60% of my TV on Roku now.

Worked well for 9 months then died completely

Owned for 9 months during which it worked well. Then it became completely unresponsive, displayed nothing (tested on two different displays), and did not respond to reset. Always ran hot, which I suspect lead to the early failure. Warranty is a ridiculous 90 days. Another expensive disposable product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
