Tremendous asset to your entertainment

Once I bought this I was very impressed by the number of CHANNELS that this little box had! I like a lot of entertainment options, but when I saw there were plenty of TV channels, as well as religious programming, that immediately hooked me! I really also like that there were a number of movie channels that I could view outside of my Netflix and Vudu and Hulu subscriptions. To be honest, you don't need to buy a Smart TV. Just buy this little box or stick and you'll be set!

Great Detailed Picture Quality

I absolutely love the ease of watching desired programs, movies and network apps on this very small, discreet device. The remote is a definite upgrade! The quality is an appreciated, but high tech improvement. I recommend this product.

The body needs reengineering

it used to get warm and shutdown. I glued some legs on it and it has not shutdown again.

Great for Fandor content

I bought this Roku 2 primarily to access fandor because I prefer to watch independent and avant-garde films which fandor features. I would like an easier way to find free content across all channels and more channels that provide brief descriptions of content without have to click a number of times to find these descriptions. I prefer using my smart phone as a remote than the remote that comes with the Roku, so I'm glad for that option.

Not a day goes by that my Roku doesn't get used! Great internet connections - no problem streaming content. Worked better than my dvd player/ and smart tv for streaming.

Love the Roku... BUT

I love the roku 2 - but I'm having some trouble with it overheating. It sits within a cabinet, but it's got plenty of ventilation - and i would say it overheats at least once a week.
other than that - I really love the machine.
