My husband and I purchased our Roku in February of 2014. We have truly enjoyed using the Roku. I love being able to stop a movie or show and pick up where I left off at my convenience. We are always adding more channels. Our main purpose is to get rid of cable. I would recommend to anyone.

It reboots too much even when the signal is strong it screws up. Watching a baseball game like and it boots every 30 seconds it posses me off.

I bought the 1st roku as a gift and was blown away with the features! So was excited to purchase the roku 2! Love the ease and accessibility and new features n channels! Being able to stay home and find everything I want is so much better than having to go out and find it, cause let's face it with no more video stores to rent from and these awful kiosks that either don't have what you want or won't play from scratches...And they never have the newest releases!! Roku2 is the best way to experience all your looking for and more!! Thank you for an all around device, and great experience!!

This is my 2nd Roku purchased for our summer home. We can watch channels not available to us locally. It is a excellent easy to use product and customer service (if you need it) is outstanding!

Private listening broke

Private listening feature broke on my first Roku 2 within a few months. I exchanged for a different Roku 2, and the same thing happened. In fact, the remote is entirely unusable; I use the app on my phone instead. I wish I had bought a cheaper model since the only reason I paid more for the Roku 2 was the private listening feature.

I find the ruku has limited functionality, one improvement that would make ruku better is a simple, a "Play List" whereby shows could be selected from all providers.

works, slow and does not work with all MP4 videos

I bought this because I have an older TV for a second hook up, otherwise I would
have bought the Roku3. For some reason the Roku 2 only plays some of
the MP4 videos on my server while my Roku 3 plays all my MP4s.
I wish the Roku 3 also included composite audio and video along with all the other
ports.
