Unit heats up too much

Although the streaming is more consistent than the original ROKU, this unit becomes so hot I cannot leave it plugged in.

I got this Roku 2 for another room after getting a Roku 3, and while I'm happy with it overall, it sure would be nice to have access to profiles in Netflix. If had known about this ahead of time, I would have gone with another 3.

Got the Roku 2 for XMAS present so I had no idea in what's that box for ! Now I just love it so much because I don't need to go to kisok or get the movie from Red Box , whatever you have to get out of the house to get the movie ... No need to do cuz it is all in THRU TV!

So much to see and so little time. I'm saving from not having a cable bill and have access to wider variety of movies. I only had one problem & had to unplug and re-plug and it was fixed.

Great start, now a bit disappointing

We loved ROKU 2 for the first 3 mos or so, but lately we're getting intermittent purple screens or black screens and having to walk away from the TV and walk or read a book for awhile while it 'resets' itself or something. VERY disturbing to happen mid-movie on us. I think we're lucky now when we get to watch an uninterrupted episode in one of the Netflix series that we enjoy ... *sigh*

we purchased the Roku over a month ago mainly to watch Acorn TV and were pleasantly surprised that there was so much more programs to watch at no charge
