love that my kids can use it with no help!

Weve had it for a few months nd its pretty good. The only thing I dnot like is whilenusing netflix I can not switch accounts. Also you hardly get any free channels like they say. But the kids use netflix so its ok for now. I have 3 and gonna buy more!

I bought this a few weeks ago. I had cable before but since I am going to move in the next year or so and was going to lose cable I wanted to get a jump start to see which product would work best for me. The Roku 2 works great on my old tv that isn't hdtv and has all the apps I am subscribed to: Netflix, Hulu+, DramaFever, and Crunchyroll. It is a good buy for those who use a lot of paid for online subscriptions like I do and end up watching those more than the actual tv. This also made a lot of sense with Hulu+ which is a lot of the normal cable programs that you would watch but now for a cheaper price!
I would recommend this to a friend!

There's tons of content, for sure, BUT I'm a bit dissappointed with two things: (1) much of the content I want to watch is at an extra cost and (2) the layout of the guide(s) is very counter-intuitive and hard to navigate + changes all the time.

I bought this unit to replace our Wii and purchased the HD connector as well. It was really easy to set up and use and have enjoyed renting movies off the M-Go option as well.

Bought a couple of months ago. Streams really well. However, the earphone jack stopped working after a couple of weeks. No big deal.

I'm still mourning the loss of the original Netflix. The movie choices are so limited. Just the same stuff that's at theaters. Where are the classics, film noir, independent films? PBS is the best of all. Netflix has dumbed down to all the rest of the channels. Too bad so sad.

Save money. Buy the Roku and you will get free content directly from your internet stream. Choose your own preferred channels. Movies, original series and more.

easy to use

We bought it a month ago,and noticed at times it takes a while for it to load. The remote and box they fail to communicate. We tend to plug it and unplug it few times to get it going. We believe the problem lies with the ac power connection on the box.
