I'm a cord-cutter and have had my Roku for almost a year, and it's worked out fairly well. It gets all the services I subscribe to, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, PBS, etc. And I greatly enjoy the headphone jack feature on the remote, very convenient at times. Occasionally, though, it does stall and freeze up on me, it's been happening more and more recently. I've also had issues with the Netflix app, specifically wherein English-speaking shows whenever there is dialogue in another language, the English subtitles for those moments don't appear unless I choose to subtitle the entire time (it's really weird), Also, there are some features that have been updated and included on website and newer Roku models, but haven't been updated on the Roku 2 yet, like automatically play the next episode in Netflix again. I'm generally pleased with the product as it does get the job done of letting me watch shows and movies, but I would advise buyers to buy the latest model, where it seems Roku makes a bigger priority making sure latest models gets updates, and seem to forget about former models, like my Roku 2. It's worth the extra money.

I really like this and am glad I bought it. Very easy to set up and operate, Love how you can listen without disturbing others. You can even leave the room with the headphones on and continue to listen, this is so cool because I don't like to pause. My box does get a bit warm though,so I don't like that. but that is the only down side to this. or I would give it 5 stars.

I gave up satellite TV and get Netflix on the Roku instead. It's easy to use and I can access lots of shows, with no buffering or delays. I really love it.

Hard to believe I waited so long to get a Roku. All of the apps are right at your finger tips. We use Netflix and Plex the most. It's easy enough our 3 year old can use it.

It has been extremely easy to use since I purchased it a few months ago. The internet connection never gives any problems. The one and only issue I had was with the remote: after installing the remote app on my smartphone, the roku remote stopped working until I manually killed the app and recycled the roku player.
