I have a Roku 1,2 & 3 with the 2 being the best value/feature. Have other streaming boxes and none compare to Roku.

Free of cable at last!

We got our Roku 2 about a year ago and have been very happy with it. We no longer get a big cable bill for lousy service, and only pay for internet which the Roku links to. There are tons of shows I actually WANT to watch and no commercials. One of my favorite features is that when the show is over, it is over. I have to choose to put on the next one. This means less mindless watching and better time management. What an unexpected win! It also has Pandora, and I enjoy putting it on while I clean. We've found no drawbacks to Roku after a year of use.

The Roku 2 does exactly what I intended. After reading the over reviews I bought the Roku 2 to operate with my older TV. All I needed it for was to watch movies and TV from my Amazon Prime account. I does that and more.

Thank you so much for making such a solidly reliable and useful device. It's much easier to find something to watch given the number of channels available. I give it only 4 stars because: it's a little cumbersome to enter long titles using the remote and using my phone only makes it slightly better. AND there aren't as many international programming options as is necessary for my very culturally diverse family.

Awesome for older tvs

The Roku was chosen due to its RCA jacks. My tv did not have an HDMI jack, so this was perfect. Excellent reliability and easy to use.

i bought it for a single purpose and found there are so many channels to enjoy for free that i could never see them all ...... it is never ending and what a wide array of choices
