I had one of the first Roku players and recently upgraded to the Roku 2 and it's great! I use it for Netflix and sometimes Redbox, plus tons of really good free channels and news clips.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works almost all the time

Have had Roku for 2 yrs in lieu of Directv. Satisfied with the programing, picture quality. We have a problem with the units trying to load, and reload and again, loading...but that could be part of our internet problems. Giving Roku the benefit of the doubt. Love the new feature of private plug-in on the side of the controller, works great. Overall we are glad we bought the units and will continue to use them. Thanks Roku for adding new programming !

Great Product

I bought Roku about 6 months ago for my grandchildren when there at my house. It's easy for them to connect to Netflix or any other site that has programming that like to watch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

As a Brit living outside of the UK I use the Roku to catch up on the news from the homeland as well as some of the TV shows. American TV has simply too many breaks for advertising, hardly any on my Roku. Plus the Roku has some great channels to watch and so easy to use.

More entertaining than cable for sure

Nothing to watch and you have 1900 hundred channels? Then get yourself a Roku and tell Time Warner or your cable provider to take that huge fee and stick it where the sun doesn't shine. On Roku, we're talking watch what you want, when you want and pay only for what you watch....not the other 1890 channels you don't. How great is that? Variety you won't find on your 1900 channels and you can even search for something of interest and someone out there has it. I'm loving it and I'm sure anyone thinking about it will love it too. It's the true wave of the future so people need to climb on board and maybe those high-priced cable companies will realize "I've had enough, and I'm not going to take it anymore."
