Great buy for low cost entertainment

I bought this device so I could watch 2 TV's that were not smart TV's. This product helps you connect your computer to this sort of TV and I saved money by not having to buy a smart TV to watch free things and also movies from my Netflex account Amazon Prime.

Ditch that cable box

I bought three Roku 2 devices back in April and have not looked back. Because I live in an area where even local channels are difficult to get, I am still tied to the local DSL provider but even with my 2MB connection I am still able to enjoy Netflix, Hulu, and all the other channels provided with my Roku 2.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Remote fails and unit resets several times a day

We bought the Roku 2 after our amazing experience with the Roku 2XD.
From the beginning we would experience the remote failing several times a week. Some times removing
and replacing the batteries would work, other times we would have to "re-pair" the remote.

Now the thing will freeze up two or three times a night!
We love the streaming video experience, but this device is one of the worst streaming devices I have ever had.
Spring for the Roku 3 instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A friend told me about this so I bought as a gift for my hubby. I use it more all the time to watch all my TV shows I did not get to see. So easy to set up and use.

I use it when my grand children are here, the we can stream Netfix so they can watch Disney movies while the sfults watch Direct TV on our other TV's. Happy to get The Blaze TV since Direct TV won't carry it.
