I live in the mountains and don't get to the city very often. Roku has really been a wonderful way for me to get my entertainment.

ease of operation

I bought this back before I was able to get a smart TV as I had perfectly good old television (32 inch) that works well but getting reception where I live is sometimes better from internet that cable. It has been a wonderful addition and very easy to use and set up. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to stream movies and television. There is a wide variety of apps to add on from the store as well as the ones that came with it when I purchased. Lots of free and lots of ones you pay for so you decide and select. I love it and would not trade it for anything. I have had only one problem when the power went out and that is over the time frame of owning it the last few years. Great price and great product.

GREAT LITTLE BOX!!!

The cost of cable was getting outragous. so when we looked around and found a decent internet, we tried several differant devices for streaming. The Roku won hands down. We subscibe to several name providers and use the internet TV as well as a HD antenna. The Roku is what really makes this work. Since my retirement, and being on a tight budget, we now spend a fraction of the cable bill, and have more then we can watch.
Again this is a great little box.

Easy to troubleshoot!

I just received my Roku this week. I had some difficulty setting it up, having never used technology like this before. However, Roku has a live chat option with friendly technicians that work with you to get your Roku working. The Technician was extremely nice and patient with me.

Takes the place of regular TV

Had it over a year and happy until it didn't keep pace with streaming upgrades. Amazon upgraded their CC but in my opinion Roku didn't keep up by upgrading. I may not have the tech stuff down but fixed it with some help. This shouldn't happen. The product is not that old and should be kept up to speed.

Roku 2 great for Deaf consumers

I bought a Roku 2 after having a Roku 1. The Roku 1 didn't have the captions I needed (I am deaf) so got the Roku 2. Loved it so much I got a 2nd one for the bedroom. Very easy to use and to set up. Love all the features. Recently had to call Customer Support and used the Live Chat feature online. Very helpful, fast and courteous. I highly recommend Roku and all it's products!

Our son and daughter gave us the Roku-2 last Christmas . This one of the best things that ever happen to T.V. We are in our middle seventys ,we enjoy it very much like watching the Midsomer Murders .Keep it going .
