Definitely a GREAT streamer!!!! The only thing I don't like, and why it's not 5 stars, is because it's processor is slow and thus doesn't get the updated apps from netflix or Hulu. I don't like being left behind with updates and because netflix and hulu haven't updated those apps, I'm very dissapointed

Love it. Do not have dish or cable because the necessity of having to pay for too many channels that are useless. With ROKU, I can get everything I want with Amazon Prime and Netflix plus other optional channels that I used to like on dish.

This is a great product, especially teamed up with Amazon Prime, but the last firmware update has removed the preview frames when you're seeking back or forward in the show, and the overall system has become unstable, meaning having to start over from the home screen quite often if you try to return to your watchlist from a search, etc. Don't know if it's just the amazon channel that's buggy.

Love my Roku player... have one for both TVs now. My only complaint would be that I wish my cable service, Comcast Cable, was listed as an option on more on the free channels. Other than that... great purchase!

Simple and easy

Set up was easy compared to cable stuff. Use is easy & having quick access buttons on the remote is nice. My only problem with the system is sometimes the search type menu is not fully visible, but I suspect it has something to do with my tv rather than the system itself. It was exactly what we needed for our small tv that was outdated but had no receiver for the update. The cost was nice since we had just dropped cable for that reason.

I received the Roku when I was laid up from surgery and it was a life saver, I also received a gift subscription to Net Flix which made it that much greater. However O subscriptions can become quite expensive, especially if you are on a fixed income as I am . It can take you down the the tubes very quickly if you do not control it and leave you in a various bad finanical situation.

With the price of cable ever increasing and the availability of internet shows, this was a no-brainer. I have not missed a show. It is nice to watch seasons of shows without interruption, on my schedule.
