I wanted the features of a smart TV but didn't want the expense of purchasing a brand new television when the one I already own is perfectly fine, this little box was the answer! The only issue I have is on occasion it looses internet connection, I'm not sure if it's the box or my internet, I live way out in the country, but whichever the cause it only takes moments for it to reconnect so not really a big issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First, I bought a Roku3 for my HD television. I loved it so much that I wanted Roku for my 2 other non-HD TV's. Thankfully, Roku2 works beautifully with them, and now it even includes YouTube. It's so simple to set up! And I never stop bragging to my friends how much I love Roku and all of the unique content that I can get like old movies, old TV shows, YouTube videos, and connections to my HBOGO, Netflix, and Amazon Prime accounts. I. Love. Roku.

I recently switched to the roku 2 from cable and I absolutely love it. It offers so many channels, shows old and new, free and rental movies. I can't remember a time without cable or a dish and now with roku 2 I don't need either! I'm saving money every month. My kids are watching everything they like and no complaints.

Hard to type in search request
I find most of what I want to watch on the computer with simple searches.

Roku Rocks!

We have a Roku 2 and Roku 3 and love both we love the feature that allows the remote to plug into head phones. It's a feature that is far better than any other system has. Plus connectivity to netflix, hulu and our plex server is awesome. We don't have cable anymore because we can use the roku device to watch everything we need to watch.

We bought the Roku 2 for our summer home in Maine and have found it to be all that we hoped it would be. Lots of movies and TV shows that we missed when originally aired. I would recommend this to everyone.

Roku gives me so many shows and movies to watch that I will soon be having my cable cut off and only using my Roku.
