Great!!

I bought this about 4 months ago since dropping cable and it works great. Easy to use and the channels are okay. I hope that they have a NFL channel this fall as there appears to be a channel for every other professional sport!

Everything about the Roku 2 is excellent except the plug-in ear bud feature, which is why I bought it. When you plug in earbuds or phones, it cuts off the TV sound and directs sound to the ear buds. Which it is supposed to do! Problem: The buttons on the remote are too sensitive. You have to carry the remote around, in a pocket or somewhere - and almost every movement puishes a button. So the channel changes or the sound disappears or whatever. Regardlaess of how careful yo may be.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gotta love the stream

We purchased this at the beginning of the year. It is so easy to set up and so far it has been everything we hoped for. The only con is that the little receiver gets super hot when it's plugged in, so we have to unplug after we are done using it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Yea is OK.. a little disappointed with some reason whenever I go to crunchyroll, Netflix, Hulu Plus & etc. It keep disconnecting over and over just because it's too far away from my internet wifi, i got to put in my room to be able to watch it peacefully.. when I have in my room I love it! Haa^^ a little disappointed i cant watch it in the living room peacefully..

I've had my Roku for about four months and I love it. Top quality picture and watching my netflix and hulu shows is awsome.

good substitute for cable

I enjoy the fact that I no longer need to be part of a cable company to enjoy the TV. However, in the Roku box, or video ad for roku, I noticed that you had advertised cnn as one of the News channels offered on Roku. The only thing I've had access to related to CNN, are outdated reports. Is CNN going to get a channel on Roku soon? Also, the remote control that comes with the Roku device keeps draining new batteries in a matter of weeks. Is this intended? Or did I get a defective remote control? One last thing, if I let the Roku box on for a long period of time, I restarts itself. No very fun to watch the TV freeze and there is nothing I can do.
