It's great except but it keeps losing a connection

I had an old Roku that I loved, then I bought this one. I've been frustrated because it often loses connection to the internet, so when my kids want to watch a show, I have to go to the settings to connect it again. Otherwise, it's great.

Very Reliable

I bought the Roku 2 in May and have been very pleased with the reliability and service. The only small concern is the heat build-up of the unit.

Small but Mighty

I haven't had mine long, and haven't taken advantage of the "free" samples, etc., yet. (I'm waiting until some of my favorite shows start their new season) But strolling through there is more than enough to keep me busy. I switched because I got fed up with my Cable provider, and so far I'm glad. After I try more of the features I'll make another review. Thank you

The wifi card is very good, fast, and reliable. Picture quality is great. I'm not sure I would recommend roku to someone who does not have/want any of the paid services such as amazon prime or netflix though. There is some quality free stuff for sure but you really have to dig for it and there is a large amount of stuff I would never watch. A great unit though for streaming tv and movies- much more reliable than many blu-ray players with wifi and limited apps

Easy to Use

I really enjoy my Roku. I've had it for several months, and use it mostly (exclusively?) for streaming Netflix. Only once has it has any problems (failed to respond to remote) and it was really easy to get it back to performing perfectly. Like the ease of the remote, like the quickness in response. Just plain really like that little, little box!

I bought the Roku after first purchasing the Amazon Fire TV box. Very happy that I did. The Roku box has presented no issues, is intuitive to use, and the controller earphone has been surprisingly useful.

Money down the tubes

It was recommended I purchase this due to Netflix buffering while using Blu-Ray player. Used it and attempted to switch from stereo to surround sound and now it doesn't work. Unable to get help. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

I have really enjoyed my roku. The only complaint I have is that sometimes it freezes and you have to unplug it to get it unstuck. The batteries also run down very quickly if you use the headphones on a frequent basis. Otherwise I am very satisfied.
