Finally TV I want to watch.

I bought Roku 2 on a whim because sitting at the computer to watch Netflix, Amazon, etc. became tiresome. Roku was easy to setup and to use. I've watched something on Roku every day. For years if anyone asked me if I watched TV, I said no. I hated TV. There was nothing on besides "reality" shows, news, sports, and other drivel. Now actually use my streaming subscriptions, plus found new ones. While I haven't reached couch potato status, I am watching more TV now than I have in 20 years. My favorite feature is the headphone jack in the remote. The only draw back is sometimes the Roku gets too hot in summer. I live in the desert southwest so that might explain the heating issue. Roku is the best impulse purchase of my life.

Love the headphones!

Great device for cutting out the high price of cable. I have had my Roku for a year and don't think I will ever run out of shows/movies to watch. I didn't expect there to be so many free channels.

We dropped expensive cable monthly fees and decided to go with Roku. We have been happy with it. Today there is a "glitch" in the system and I will follow up with Roku to hopefully resolve the issue. It is possible that it is not a Roku issue but maybe with Crackle, which is one of the stations to watch via Roku. Happy with it so far!!

I bought this product to find other programs that are not available on, direct TV. I use, the german learning channel, I.T. training, old time movies, vudu, weather channels (3) of them, food, special interest, reliable religious channels, and fitness instructional videos.

We have been able to enjoy programs and movies that we LIKE when we are able to watch them vs having to endure commercials and time constraints with network programming that is often marginal in quality...and there's Pandora!

Darn Near Perfect

I've had my Roku 2 for several months now. As a cord cutter, it's a near-perfect way to bring a crush of content into my home. For some reason, the remote goes through batteries at an alarming rate. Otherwise, I'm super-pleased with the product.

I bought Roku 2 about 2 months ago. I bought it so I could watch Netflix in the living room, on the big screen tv. I don't use it for much else.
