We enjoy Netflix via the Roku and very happily see many old shows WITHOUT commercials. My wife has a Roku on her TV with the treadmill and uses it all the time! Great investment!!

A co-worker purchased one and told me about it. When I bought mine I'd hoped to find several English, streaming, live stations (like typical television). While the content selection is immense, there are only a few that offer what I'd hoped.

My daughter and SIL are much more media savvy than I am. They learned I was playing Amazon Instant video on my laptop output via HDMI to the big screen TV.
As a hearing impaired person, I'd like to be able to use the Roku remote headphone feature without muting the main speakers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the Roku, and if it weren't for the fact that I can't get some live television on it I would jettison my cable company in a heartbeat. Everyone I know who has a Roku has the same complaint, namely that we can't get Fox News Channel live. If you would charge for Fox News Channel live I would pay for it and drop cable, because frankly, that's the only reason I still have cable service.

Bought this about March of this year. And has already paid for itself. Especially if your a wrestling fan and want the WWE Net Work. Simply awesome.

Failed Remote Control

I was extremely happy with my purchase, but all of a sudden the remote control is not working. I cannot get my Roku to work. I wonder if this is a typical occurrence. I would recommend this product if the remote would work....
