Great Product

I have been using Roku since Christmas this year. Great Product!! Once plugged in and hooked up to your TV this little guy connects to the internet in seconds and is streaming instantly. The quality of video is outstanding, I really am amazed at the picture and sound quality that I can achieve over the internet. Currently I use cable internet, with the lowest product they offer and I have no issues. Also, we are in the middle of a move and temporarily living with family, I simply took my ROKU with us, plugged in and again am instantly watching my Netflix shows, and keeping the kids happy with their Disney shows. Overall a great product, highly recommended! Thanks to ROKU for helping me cut the cord with traditional cable TV!!

I now own two roku's and I will be buying a couple more in the future for our vacation home. This has to be one of the greatest devices built in a long time. They are very easy to use. Setting it up was a breeze even for someone like myself that is not to tech savy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Okay at Home, Useless on the Road

I travel a lot and was hoping the Roku would be useful for entertainment on the road. Sadly, while it works well at home, it is essentially useless for travel. Really like the content, but not the restrictions on use.

We love our Roku! i got rid of cable 4 months ago and thanks to our Roku i have not missed it! i bought 2 at same time for 2 of our tvs. one of them i have only changed the batteries once and the other keeps running them down. But really it is an amazing thing as an alternative to cable!

One feature that needs to be added

Without the ability to allow netflix users to change viewing profiles, this thing is only an okay product. Meh, if you will. As with anything offering you thousands of options, most are garbage and you'll never use them. For people who have"cut the cord", you'll find that lots of channels require logging in with a cable tv subscription. Ain't happening.
