Met my needs well

I needed a WiFi device that I could use on my older TV without HDMI. For a few reasons I am not sure what flat screen I am going to get right now and the Roku let me smarten up my old TV with the RCA connection. I was not focused on picture quality just internet connectivity.
The Roku does a great job. My only two concerns are that I cannot specify which Netflix user to access in my Netflix account. This might be a Netflix issue but it is frustrating not to be able to continue watching shows that I began on a different device. Also, how do you turn it off. I have to pull the plug on the back.
All in all, a great product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Roku 2: Easy Setup, Great Performance

With the installation of a new Internet connection, I am now able to stream from the Internet to my TV. Roku 2 was very easy to setup and the performance has been outstanding. I now have access to programming I never could have had before. I rely mostly upon Netflix and AcornTV.

been using for about 4 months it is great. Weight easier than using my Blu ray player to watch online content. Doesn't take any time at all. It is pretty much instant. A great addition to my home theater.

My Favorite Channels

I have limited cable, but Roku supplies the rest of my channel needs. Now, I'm able to watch programs on Free Speech TV, 3ABN, and HOPE channels. There are a lot more channels for me to discover on Roku.

I bought this few months ago and was the best thing I bought for entertainment at home. Gives you what it says and the earphone option is awesome when one has to study and one wants to relax and watch something

Roku is the best thing to happen to my budget in years. When I complained about my cable bill to my son, he encouraged me to try Roku, and I've never been sorry. With it, I've been able to shave over $80 per month from my cable bill while still enjoying all my favorite shows. I challenge anyone with the guts to cut the cable apron strings to give it a try.
