I've gone thru 3 Rokus and unfortunately they don't last. The last one the Roku 2 lasted about 3 weeks until the control no longer works. I've tried changing batteries, pairing etc., but forever reasons the control stops working and that's the end of the movie viewing with that equipment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We finally had enough of the cable bill and decided to go to Roku. We love this product. We can watch everything we want for 65 dollars cheaper than we were paying.

You need to put Youtube on this one like Roku 3 but I like where I can hook it up to the stereo which I have done

My Roku was down. Instant messaged with the support team and it was so fast and easy! Just had to reset it by re-plugging it in. They were so quick to respond

There are many reviews as are there many streaming devices and companies on the market today. I for one know realistically that there is nothing absolutely perfect in this life. Now, having said that, I must simplify this issue with surety. Roku streaming devices are without a doubt #1, simply "the best on the market". Nothing can compare!
