Perfect for my little old-style TV

I like to watch TV before I go to sleep, and it's the only time I watch this little old TV set. So many nights, there was nothing good on cable. This little Roku 2 was the perfect answer!

I am so delighted to own this product. Its there when I want it and watch what I want. I recommend this over any cable products because its realiable and not like cable recordings when they fail to record. I love it!!

My Cable went digital and I now have 2 tv's without cable. Since they only get used when guest are here I bought the Roku 2 and put it in those rooms. It will work out nicely so that guest still have some for of entertainment in those rooms.

We purchased the Roku 2 awhile ago and have been very pleased with it's performance. The Roku 2 meets our needs perfectly and we are very happy that this is the model we chose . Set up was very easy and it is very user friendly. We are very happy with it's streaming and features.

Big Step Up From Older Roku Models

Purchased this to upgrade from older Roku 1. Has better (software) interface, making channel selection quicker and easier. Also has option for selecting closed-captioning on many NetFlix programs, and since we view a lot of British shows, this helps. I enjoy the ability to use ear buds. I often watch old movies and TV shows on Pub-D-Hub and other channels, and my wife appreciates that I don't play Dragnet-type programs through the speakers so she has to listen to them!
Only 'downside' to the Roku 2 is that it seems to lock up and do an 'auto-reboot' somewhat regularly---something that my Roku 1 rarely did. But with the upgraded features, I guess I can live with it.
