In my opinion, the thickness of the aluminum in this set is undersized by at least .040”. The width of the handles should be minimum of 1/4” to 3/8” wider to make it easier to hold onto the pots/pans and prevent tilting from side to side.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First new set since 1974 and I love it! I had copper bottom which is not recommended for glass top stoves so I purchased these and wish I had bought the set years ago!
