LOVE THIS PHONE

I love this phone and all of it's features. The pice was GREAT. I upgraded from my old phone and my new one came 2 days later.

nice but has minor issues

I dont like in this phone how once you open it to the full keyboard when texting you cant go back to the T9 until the next text message. The front screen is very limited on what i can do. you cant see pictures or send them or play games on the little screen. A few good things though are the design and durability. My brother got the samsung gravity 2 same time i bought this and his slider is going out already. I love my phone over his though. Its a great deal for the great price!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great BUT. . .

So this phone I just got about a week ago and I have no problems with the original project but a few upgrades should be made, such as, when you take a picture and your phone is flipped open, you should have a setting where you could see the picture being taken on the front screen. I don't know if that makes sense. Another upgrade that is a MUST, is spellcheck or an autocorrect. When I write "don't" it should automatically put the ' as opposed to you having to go alt + ' you know, just two little things that would make this phone better. But the spell check is really needed and I hope everyone agrees! :D

It Doesn't Have an option to lock certain applications. sometimes it freezes up.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Lightweight
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations, not enough option about locking applications

Not a bad phone for when it came out. I prefer more options and functionality, but its still a great phone for the kids..
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color

This phone is great for a first buy. It's fun to play with, easy to use, very good speakers, good display, and not too bulky. The only problem is that sometimes it will turn itself on and off, but it only happened maybe 4 times in my 2 years of owning it. I have this phone now, and it lasted me 2 years and 1 month, and after all the times i dropped it, it only starts acting up now. I'm actually buying this phone again, that's how great it was. I would DEFINITELY recommend this phone. It's a great buy and it will be well worth the money you pay for it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, fast, easy to use, fun, well built
Cons: turns itself on and off (not often)
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's Okay, but there are Better Things Out There!

The reason I bought this phone in the first place is because it had purple in the inside, and it also had a camera and video recorder (which work just fine). Some people complain about the full QWERTY keypad, but I personally think it works just fine. The keypad does have smaller keys, but you get used to it after texting for a while. Also, I have dropped this phone MANY times, but all that happens is the back comes off, and the battery falls out, but after putting it back together, the phone works just fine. I love the multiple alarms-up to 3, and types of alarms that you can choose from-melody, increasing melody, vibration, vibration then melody, vibration and melody, and vibration and increasing melody-GREAT! The music player is excellent. However, it does have some drawbacks. I absolutely hate the lock feature. I personally think that when the phone is locked, there should be no way to use the phone unless it is unlocked. The phone has this feature that dials 911 when you press those buttons, whether it would be 911 or 2834911, while the phone is locked. I do not like this at all because this makes it extremely easy to butt/pocket dial the police (personal experience). Another thing that the phone does is easily turn itself back on after it is turned off. All it takes is a little nudge at the end button, and the phone will turn itself back on. I also wish that you could see the previous text message while you are replying to the person, like IMing would look like. Overall, I can't wait for my phone contract to end so I can get a new phone. I love Samsung products, but this phone is a disappointment.
