life span very short

purchaced this dryer 3/24/11 with a matching washer /whent bad already wont turn on or stay on Im a single person only used this dryer maybe 3 times a month.the warranty is out ! 5 mos. poor quality /dont buy this / my last GE lasted 10 years this will be the last for me?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
