Best Build Quality and Ideal Driver Size

The 50mm drivers in these headphones are my new standard. It delivers the bass I need to hear for modern music. The build is awesome! I really hope JBL keeps expands on this flagship product and gives it the necessary attention/exposure.

The in-line control is kind of goofy, but these headphones sound amazing. I say goofy because double clicking is supposed to skip forward, but it's not very reliable. You have to double click at just the right speed for it to work. But maybe this is due to the device I'm plugged into... Not sure, so I gave 5 stars anyway.

had bunch of cans and always needed more for music that i listen. this is a winner. great to listen to the music and watch movies. no problem to wear for hours. love it

I ordered these a few weeks ago to work out. They are the best headphones I've ever purchased. I had purchased the Bose Bluetooth headphones but returned them a week before because they gave me a headache and I'm glad i did. The ONLY reason these aren't getting a 5 star is because when i lay down on a bench or look up the headphones seem to want to slide off. Which can throw my workout off because i have to sit there and adjust it. Other than that, best I've ever had. I hope they last for years !

Great sound

Jbl sent me these for a replacement on my S500 which had a wire problem. Love the sound with the rechargeable battery
The headphone case is very difficult to arrange; trouble putting headphones away. That's why it's a 4 star not 5

These are the best headphones I own

I bought these for a graduation present to my self when i finished high school. I have to say i did a lot research on headphones especially when i am about to spend a lot of money and these were the best ones so i bought them. They are so greatly built and light weight. the only thing is i wish that the cups were like deeper if you know what i mean, can't really think of the name or how to describe it. They are also tight on the head to which i do and don't like

I've had these for about two years now. Got em when they first came out and I still love them. Great sound for both passive mode and Live DSP. Keep up the good work, JBL.

Amazing Headphones!

Recently got these headphones as a replacement for my S500's and they sound fantastic! Although they are nice, I do have 2 complaints... Number 1: The headband is a tiny bit smaller than the S500's headband, so I have to pull the band down to the 2nd notch. Other than this I think the build quality is superb! My number 2: The Livestage DSP really doesn't make much a difference in the audio. On my S500's I noticed it way more, but it does work and all, but would have preferred it to be more noticeable. Overall I am really happy with the headphones despite my 2 setbacks. I definitely think this is a good pair of headphones for audio files, music producers, and even your techy person in your life.
Owning these headphones I get asked, "What are those?" Many people ask to listen to them and get blown away.
Totally recommend these headphones!
