It's a nice TV. Solid all around. I did have to return it twice to get one with an acceptable amount of flashlighting, but I"m happy overall.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

After much research on TV quality and value, I
chose to purchase the 42 inch LED . I have not regretted this purchase. The picture quality is awesome and this size is perfect for our family room.

Dec 2010 I purchased my 42 inch LG TV, after several years of "wanting" a flat screen tv. My brother, who lives in Tampa has 3 flat screen TV's, none of which are LG tv's. Samsung, & Magnavox. That's when I decided to get a flat screen tv. After searching several brands, and from advertisement "LG" was for me. For Christmas I bought my 1st LG product. I love my TV The picture color, HD, are so distinct and clear and that is w/o the "HD Box" from the cable company, Knology!!! I love my LG. In the future, I will look to LG products/appliances prior to purchase.

Excellent product and service

I purchased this tv after months of research, both on the internet and asking other people. The picture is sharp, the sound is good. It is easy to connect to other things (XBox, Playstation, Wii, computer, etc). After 3 months of heavy use, the tv malfunctioned (blank screen, no sound when turned on). I contacted LG service since it was still under warranty and they gave me several authorized repair places within my area (none in my town- they were all a couple towns away). The one I chose came to pick up the tv and was excellent at keeping me up-to-date with repair status (the part had to be ordered from LG). I will definitely purchase nother LG product again.

Great TV

The picture is amazing, and sound is clear, and we had it up and running in minutes. This is my first HD TV. I considered 3D, but I just can't be sorry for "settling" for this TV. I've had it for six months, and I'd buy it all over again if had it to do over.
