Excellent choice for energy-conscious buyers

We chose this over other brands and models because of its Energy-Star rating and corresponding affordable price tag: only a handful of kitchen canopy hoods are Energy-Star rated. For the size of our application, its relatively low-cfm works fine. We use spices and oils in our cooking and the exhaust draw is pretty good at sucking out the odors/ hot air. Make sure its installed per the description in the manual. Ease of cleaning and operation is appreciated. Overall, its a good, well designed, inexpensive no-nonsense workhorse in our kitchen.

The suction area is a little narrow. Steam can easily escape to the sides of the hood fan. The appearance is ok.

Awesome Kitchen Addition

I have never owned a range hood before and thought it was a luxury I could never afford, but I bought this one to match my kitchen range a couple of months ago and am simply thrilled with it. It is quiet, yet has three fan settings. The light is great as well, illuminating the entire top of the range.It looks lovely in my kitchen and receives many compliments from family and friends.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It'll do. A bit flimsy so it dents easily. Poor design in that pulling the stack apart when being installed it is almost impossible that it doesn't get scratched in the process.
