[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the temp. gages and the alarm when the door is left ajar. That was a very important feature while "training" my family to close the doors in proper order--ie. If the left is closed after the right door, it won't shut unless really pushed and probably not a good choice because of the way the flaps are. I make a habit of placing foods and beverages on the right side for easy access--a habit I had to develop. The water dispenser on the inside wall of the left side is cumbersome at best--sometimes I push it, and the water runs out for a while, other times it shuts off so I have to continually push the button--because of where it is, both doors have to be open while I am getting water and it seems to take forever. (I just keep a filled glass on the right side shelf for ease access).
My prior fridge had a freezer on the bottom a feature I continue to LOVE--and because I have had a freezer on the bottom for years it has stepped into the shadows. Nothing I would change on that!

Cons: water dispenser is in a weird place-hard to work

I had an issue with the ice maker and the shelves were sharp and cut my hands.I spoke to customer service and they REPLACED my fridge without me even asking for that. That is great customer service, I have since purchased many items from kitchen aide .

There is never enough ice and once it starts up again after a rest of a day or two, it takes forever to let out little dribs and drabs of ice. The cold water is very slow, also.
