We bought this to replace a failed competitor's single-oven range, and we are so happy we bought this GE! This particular model has many features we now love (warming burner, bridge, convection oven) and we are thrilled with the double oven! In fact, we plan to donate the toaster oven, as we usually just use the small, upper oven for most baking and cooking. I know we must be saving energy by not heating up an entire large oven cavity when we cook. The white glass top is actually preferable to the black glass top we had previously; it cleans up very easily and looks cleaner than the black (which showed every smudge or fingerprint). Very happy with this purchase.

The cooktop is so efficient & is so easy to control all the temperatures. I had wanted a gas range but I.m very happy with my electric stove. Is so easy to clean! It sparkels!!

Going from gas to electric

We've had this range for about 6 weeks. It's a great looking range. The top small oven gets 90% of our oven usage and I really love it. The heat that generates off of the oven is virtually non existent, unlike our OLD gas oven. We used to avoid any baking in the summer. Not a problem now! (Although, it won't be an extra heat generator in the winter!) The separate oven controls take some getting used to but it's laid out well. The oven shuts itself off after the timer goes off, so if you need to cook longer you need to reset the proper temp. I kinda like this feature as it keeps you from accidentally leaving the oven on. It's another feature to get used to but it's a good one. My only gripe, which is a small one, is the top oven's light bulb burnt out at about a month. No big deal as you can get these for about $2.50 a piece. You need a rubber gripper or something of the sort (or strong hands) to get the glass cover off to get to the bulb. Not a big enough problem to drop my rating. I just hope it was the bulb and not an issue with the range.

Everything I wanted in a stove

I purchased the stove about six weeks ago and it has worked reliably with zero bugs. The control pad functions nicely, stove top heats up quickly, and the convection oven works well.
