Love my new stove !

I got this stove because I liked that the knobs are on the front and do not have to reach I've hot pots to turn them. I had gas built-ins and finally realized that the gas was making me sick. (I have asthma) I had a heat pump installed and got this stove, and can now cook a whole meal without fleeing the kitchen. The only problem I have is that I put the stove where the built in cook top was and the back is not finished , I am trying to find out if there is a panel that can go on it , I do not want to build around it, that would spoil the whole look I aim for. But the stove is great, I love it.

Great for short people...

We bought this stove for our Mom who has gotten so short as she ages that she could no longer reach over the top of hot pans to turn her burners off! Hard to find electric stoves with front controls. The blank back panel is a little weird...could have used a clock or even a GE emblem...

I prefer knobs instead of having a digital panel. I do miss not having the time on the stove but I can live without it. I love the controls located on the front of the stove instead of the back, behind the burners. I don't get steam burns!!! This stove brings pots to a quick boil. My old stove took much longer. I love having two elements in the oven. I also have more rack levels in the oven versus my old oven. Stove is sturdy and solid. Previously owned stoves had self cleaning feature but I never used it. Happy to find a stove that doesn't have that feature. The only negative thing about my stove is the drawer is smaller than previously owned stoves. Nothing I can't deal with. I really do enjoy cooking on this stove. So happy my husband and I bought it.

Good range

a basic range, been using it about 2 months now, recently cooked a turkey, took longer that expected to roast (about an hour), overall construction seems good, can't get balancing of range exact, some steam from cooking discolored the black finish on back of stove (not good), oven control knob a little wobbly

This is a nice looking, fast heating and has the dials in the front so you don't have to reach over hot pots to adjust the burners. Mom is in her 90's and I'm 65. We couldn't be happier.

back to basics, no computers on board to fail!

Love the basic controls on the GE.
I bought this one because the computer for the JENN-AIR we had was no longer available, thus the oven was useless.

Well made, lots of features, and a good price. The knobs are in the front making it easier for people in wheelchairs, elderly, and shorter people to access safely without reaching over the burners.

Beautiful Range

The overall range is great. Like the fact that you can turn on the oven light when you want to see inside. I do not like the drawer. The picture shows the indentation on the front of the drawer. The one I got was on top making it hard to access when you want to open the drawer. Could be a trip hazard if you leave drawer open just a bit in order to open easily.
