Great coverage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to give an old home a new look. It worked wonders! The coverage was excellent and completely changed the look of these old walls. Some had never been painted!! This has very low VOCs. It’s absolutely awesome!

Won't get hard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I painted some trim and a couple of wide bay window seats (we don't sit there, just for plants) with this paint a few months ago. I first sanded the old glossy paint, then primed with flat Behr and applied two coats of the semi-gloss with a roller. After several months, it still refuses to get totally hard. I can dent it with my finger nail using barely any pressure, and I can't set any plants on it unless they are light weight and the bottoms are completely smooth. If I step up onto it, the bottom of my shoe leaves my footprint!
I have always used Behr paint and have never noticed a problem in the past. I am going to have to find something, hopefully, to paint over it that will make it the hard surface that I need it to be. The lesson here is -- if you want it to get nice and hard, don't use this paint!

Hi kimiata90, thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear the coating hasn't dried to hard finish, and still leaves imprints. Before you plan on re-painting the area, we'd recommend washing the surface with soap and water; this will help remove any sticky residue. If cleaning removes some of the paint, a fresh coat may be needed. To help with this, I'll be sending you a separate email. Please keep an eye out for it, as it can go to your junk inbox. -Edith

Excellent choice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this paint to use for an addition we built and I have really enjoyed it! The color is perfect and the paint cleans up so nicely. It also went on smoothly and had wonderful coverage. We painted on sheetrock not previously painted walls so we needed a good quality paint to adequately cover the walls and this paint did the job!! I loved not having to paint with primer first and it really turned out well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Behr products in the past and decided to use them again. I needed the touch up trim and base boards after having a new floor and front door installed. Things looked much better after using Behr paint.

Worse product! It should be recalled

I am a loyal Behr customer and very satisfied with the quality of the products until last week. As last week I brought more products from Behr and this particular product is so disappointing. It is pealing off from all interior doors, windows, kitchen cabinets and they were painted 5 days ago. I paid 3 professionals to do the work and now everything looks worse than before and I lost a lot of money on paying 2 days worth on this professionals work. Behr has a wonderful reputation and other great products but this one in particular is not one of them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I know how disappointing that can be, especially after paying three professionals to do work, and I can assure you it’s not the experience we want any of our customers to have.
To fix this issue, I recommend sanding off the loose coating, cleaning the surface, and touching-up or re-coating as needed for uniformity. It’s also important to avoid harshly touching the paint or abrasive objects such as fingernails for the first 30 days as the paint is still curing and very sensitive during this time.
