Quick drying and low odor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this paint to spruce up a remodeled portion of our house. By the time you get to the painting portion of your DIY remodel you're ready for the light at the end of the tunnel. We were thrilled with how quickly the paint dried so we could get that next coat painted! The coverage was incredible. Even with newly textured drywall the paint with primer went on nice and thick. Also, I'm very sensitive to smells so I appreciate that this paint has virtually no odor. Even the the metal exterior doors were easy to paint. Everything looks so bright and crisp!!! We don't mind paying for a product that gets the job done.
I would recommend this to a friend!

One Coat Wonder!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to peel off layers of wallpaper, but some of the original would not come off the original wall.( It is a 110 year old house.) It was colorful and I was just a tiny bit unsure that this would cover it in one coat. With the first roll I could see it was covering nicely, but what about when it dried? I am ashamed that I was a tiny bit unsure at Behr. It covered it in ONE COAT! I have been a Behr customer for years, and will continue to be as well.

Decent to work with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did 2 small bedrooms with 1 gallon. If you want to do a second coat you will need 2 cans. If you want a one time job I’d suggest using the Marquee line of Behr paint. I myself may consider using it for our bathrooms. One coat. Will advise to use one coat if trying to cover up old paint, or light marks on the wall. It is good for the price. Highly recommended for lighter jobs.

Great coverage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to give an old home a new look. It worked wonders! The coverage was excellent and completely changed the look of these old walls. Some had never been painted!! This has very low VOCs. It’s absolutely awesome!

Won't get hard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I painted some trim and a couple of wide bay window seats (we don't sit there, just for plants) with this paint a few months ago. I first sanded the old glossy paint, then primed with flat Behr and applied two coats of the semi-gloss with a roller. After several months, it still refuses to get totally hard. I can dent it with my finger nail using barely any pressure, and I can't set any plants on it unless they are light weight and the bottoms are completely smooth. If I step up onto it, the bottom of my shoe leaves my footprint!
I have always used Behr paint and have never noticed a problem in the past. I am going to have to find something, hopefully, to paint over it that will make it the hard surface that I need it to be. The lesson here is -- if you want it to get nice and hard, don't use this paint!

Hi kimiata90, thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear the coating hasn't dried to hard finish, and still leaves imprints. Before you plan on re-painting the area, we'd recommend washing the surface with soap and water; this will help remove any sticky residue. If cleaning removes some of the paint, a fresh coat may be needed. To help with this, I'll be sending you a separate email. Please keep an eye out for it, as it can go to your junk inbox. -Edith

Excellent choice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this paint to use for an addition we built and I have really enjoyed it! The color is perfect and the paint cleans up so nicely. It also went on smoothly and had wonderful coverage. We painted on sheetrock not previously painted walls so we needed a good quality paint to adequately cover the walls and this paint did the job!! I loved not having to paint with primer first and it really turned out well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As far as my husband is concerened, there is no other paint. We are redoing our whole house, one room at a time. So may colors to choose from and the one coat coverage paint can't be beat. The Behr paint site color palette tool so useful for those of use who need a little extra help but don't want to pay a professional.
