Worst coverage ever

Purchased the semi gloss in Decorator White to paint over pale beige doors and baseboards. THREE COATS LATER I still have streaky finish. I gave up. Love the wall paint but this is the worst.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not a good paint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased several shades to do repainting projects in our master bath and the guest bathroom and hired a painter. It already needs to be repainted. The paint has not held up well (and it's only been about a year). There are several places where the old paint is still showing through despite two coats of "paint and primer in one." There are places where the paint is bubbled or peeling and the places where it gets cleaned more often (like around the sink) where the paint already looks different than the other areas. The white "paint and primer in one" we bought to repaint the doors has allowed the old finish to come through in a very noticeable way. The whole "paint and primer in one" idea does not seem to be working as far as I am concerned.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

too good to be true

My wife feels that "Behr paint is the best." So when we set out to re-do a room (this case, the hall bath), I know not to even suggest another brand of paint.
We sure liked the notion of ONLY one coat (color and primer combined) but it did not work out.
Granted, it was a dark color over nearly white but we are in the process of another coat.
Can one tint primer.?
If we knew that the combo Behr product would not cover in one coat, we would have primed the entire bath room and would have spent far less time "cutting in."

On a positive note, we both noticed that there was very little smell.

Great coverage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to paint my bathroom and kitchen in our old house. It did wonderfully covering the old paneling that was in the kitchen and bringing it to life again. I will definitely be repainting all the rooms in the new house with Behr! Behr's the only paint for me!

Smooth finish

This paint provided a very smooth finish on bathroom cabinets. It was easy to apply with a foam roller and paint leveling was excellent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I did extensive research to get a paint to cover all of our stained trim. LOTS of stained trim. We started with a oil based primer then happily started using the Behr Premium plus enamel. We were using an extremely experienced painter and I had insisted on using this paint because of its reputation. The stained trim was primed (possibly even two coats) and the Behr product went on. And it had to be reapplied. And reapplied. AND REAPPLIED. Oh my heavens, it took forever, because it was NOT covering the stain. The painter began grumbling under his breath, "behr, grrr...." because he normally used a different product. It took five days to paint our trim and I readily added to what he had charged because of how many times they had to keep going back. Now all of our trim is chipped and looks awful. Never again.

You need more than 1 coat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I paid for a higher quality of paint w/primer as I did not want to have to put several coats on my wall. It was very disappointing. I bought paint for an accent wall, my bedroom walls and my bathroom. 1) The paint chipped in areas, literally came off when washing in some areas, and then needed more than one coat in others. Really disappointed because I used Behr exterior to paint the entire exterior of my house including the trim. That worked extremely well.
