Absolutely love behr's products!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a professional (contractor, handyman, etc.), nor am I an influencer. I'm simply a wife and homeowner trying to update our home so my husband will be more comfortable once his illnesses forces him to stay home full time. This brand is easy to use, no horrible smell, durable, easy cleanup and most times I only need one coat. We are not wealthy but I fell the brands price point is affordable. I also love the variety of colors and sheens.
I've don't most of my interior. Now I'm saving to do the exterior.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The finish is outstanding, such beautiful results, I definitely will use this again and highly recommend this for everyone who is looking for a excellent paint for windows, doors and trim!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All Behr products are top tier I live next to two paint stores that I like they rhyme with wermin sWilliams. I will ride right by them for my behr products. The woods stains the paints top tier true one coat pants. Nothing beats it

Don't Like the new Self-Priming

I have used Behr Premium Plus (not ultra) from Home Depot for about 10 years now and never had a problem. I dont really like the new Self-Priming version. We've noticed that the finish is more tacky and doesn't harden as fast, so even like several days later the paint has not fully cured making it more likely to scratch/peel off if hit by something. This is not so good, when painting is usually the last thing you do on job, and the customer is "feeling" for a nice durable surface before he/she pays you. I guess this makes sense because the "self-priming" probably makes it bond better, but I've never had a problem with the old stuff with liquid sander or a good quality primer for glossy/semi-glossy surfaces. This problem is only on wood like trim, doors, and cabinets. I usually use flat paint on the walls, so there's not a problem with bonding or curing in that situation. The new flat paint is fine(no preference). I just liked the old semi-gloss more. Behr should of just gave the customer another option and still made the old formula available.

One coat, idiot proof

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paint made remodeling so much easier. The previous paint on the wall was a hideous orange color and this covered it completely in 1 coat with no priming required. I can't go back to regular paint. Plus it has a shiny finish which I like.

light colored paint for bathroom

I am a big fan of Behr, primarily for their color selection and matching ability. however, I was not completely happy with this product. I painted my bathroom "orange ice" and even after 2 coats, the paint didn't look like it covered well (and I had primered the wall before I started).
I would recommend this to a friend!

paint wareablity failed

I have used your paint for several years and loved it. this time I was painting my new home and after three weeks I started to hang pictures and such and saw that the elasticty of the paint was not good. the paint marks up very easy and does not clean up like in the past. it seems that the paint just did not meet the standards that it has in the past. i do not know if you have changed the product or not but will not use this again unless i get a response from you. i sent in a rebate on the paint i bought so you can see i have bought two 5 gallon and three one gallon cans. i would like to hear from you on this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
