Many drying features

Lint filter is flimsy and door has to be lined up to close. Seems like it should have been made stronger.
Still trying to figure out what is the best setting for drying the quickest.
Love the no wrinkle feature.

I am happy with it. If I can dry a bedspread, that makes me happy, but as with all the dryers, set the right temperature to get the results you want and do not overload it. Separate colors and avoid drying towels with your cotton clothes. This product will lower your energy bill for sure.

Cooler drying saves fabrics

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I noticed right away that this dryer doesn't appear to use extreme heat to dry. For me, it takes two cycles with this dryer to completely dry most regular items, but the total time for the two cycles is less than the time required to dry on my older dryer. Cooler temps, less time, more efficient. I love the 4 choices of drying cycles. I especially love that you can adjust the loudness of the signal. I really like this dryer and I'm sorry they aren't manufacturing it anymore. Hopefully, new ones are similar and even better.

I like most everything about this dryer except one concern.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The one issue I have is the lint filter. I don't think the lint filter does an adequate job of removing the lint from each cycle. I have had to remove the filter, then use a vacuum cleaner attachment to finish removing the lint that collects beneath the filter. Other than that problem, I like the quietness of the cycles and the drying performance of the machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only issue I have with the dryer is the lint filter. it doesnt get all the lint, i use my vacum hose to get it out at least 2x week, just to make sure i dont have a fire later on down the road from a stopped up lint. I wonder about the vent hmmm being stopped up now. i had cleaned out the vent before they put in the new one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lint trap is very poor. It does not adequately trap lint. The dryer is too small to adequately handle drying of my king size bedding.

my dryer of 12 years finally took its last spin, so we went shopping. 1 year ago last march we bought the GE 7.0 cu ft capacity DuraDrum. it ran great the first year. about 2 weeks ago I noticed it no longer turned off by itself. the timer had burned out or something. this morning I notice there now is no heat. Of course the warranty ran out in march. Luckily my washer was still running so I did not blow money on the GE washer too. I did not buy an extended warranty because I believe if you are spending that much money the darn thing should last at least a few years. I have had 3 dryers in the last 45 years. one lasted 18 years (with four kids) the second lasted 10 years ( I rented for a while and used their dryer) and the 3rd lasted 12 years. this one lasted barely over a year. I will never buy GE again. or any of the other names it goes by.

Love my new dryer. The many settings are great. I love the senor feature. This will keep your clothes from over drying and shrinking more. Big and roomy so the clothes dry faster. Very happy
