IT IS EASY TO INSTALL AND USE. THE ABILITY TO USE FROM MOBILE DEVICES IS A GREAT ADVANTAGE IN THIS AGE OF DEVICES.
PRINT QUALITY IS GOOD AND PHOTO PRINTS ARE GOOD TOO.

Excellent features, good value for money

This printer has excellent features and is excellent value within its product range. Perhaps the only feature missing is the ability to scan colour slides and film negatives otherwise would recommend this printer to anyone wanting a professional printer for the home.

I am so happy with the ease of use and the quality of printing. No more waiting for the ink to dry after printing either. It gives a really professional finish. The scanner and photocopier are really easy to use too and gives great results. An all-in-one versatile product which I would highly recommend.

Easy set up but wifi gets complicated

I was hoping to purchase a good photo printer that can print the occasional A3 and fax. Epson made it tricky for me to either go with the XP-850 with fax or XP-950 with A3. I decided A3 might be more beneficial to me after a very long consideration.
The setup process from the CD is excellent offering a very detailed process to get the printer going. Works perfectly after I've decided to connect the printer by LAN. However, I got curious and tried setting up WiFi on the printer LCD. It was a minor disaster. It lost the LAN connection and it took me a frustrating hour to figure out why I can't print my documents and my printer appeared offline. Tried the setup CD again but it couldn't detect my printer via LAN connection. I fiddled around and restored the WiFi settings to default on the printer LCD and presto, it works again.
Epson, please release and occasional A3 printer with fax in the future. Also, make it idiot-proof for people like me from trying to connect via LAN and wifi simultaneously.

This product has excellent photo printing

As an art teacher, it is important that photos and images are printed very well, to use in assessment and presentation documents. The Epson XP-950 is fast efficient and produces excellent colour and definition.

Since purchasing the Epson XP-950 I have been very happy with this. We have had Epson printers previously and this one by far is the best.
It is easy to connect with wireless products and to print from anywhere in the house.
The printing quality is great especially for students who have to print a lot for projects.
Would recommend this produce for both home and business.

Features for everyone

Had the 950 for a few weeks now. It is not easy to get the right product when there are 5 very different users in the house. So far it has delivered excellent quality 4X6 photos, solid A3 graphics and reams of university notes. Photos looked as good as the photo booth with rich colours. Having an A3 for occasional big printing has been fantastic. Its amazing what you didn't know you needed until you get it. Scanning seems a bit slow but the software was easy enough to load and access from numerous mobile devices has been a popular addition in the household. Standard text is OK but blacks not as crisp as some as photos are its real strength. Ink use has been high but the initial ink cartridges are not large so time will tell how efficient it operates. All in all, a satisfied customer.
